Welcome to Unforgettable Big Band|
Unforgettable Big Band is a traditional classic big band located in York, Pennsylvania.
Unforgettable covers many of the great and
lasting songs of the swing era, including arrangements by Glenn Miller,
Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Duke
Ellington, Count Basie, and more. We also have an assortment of
outstanding big band arrangements of gospel standards that are suitable
for a worship service, or a performance.
Unforgettable is a faith based, community service-oriented group of musicians. It is our desire to give to
the generations that have paved the way before us.
We endeavor to accommodate worthy fundraising events, as well.
Currently in our 12th season, Unforgettable was founded by Steve Spangler on July 25, 2000. The band is currently organized as a non-profit corporation, dedicated to continuing the American big band tradition.

THE BIG BAND BRUNCH|
Join Unforgettable Big Band as we bring a slice of York to the world. Steve Mendoza, host of the Big Band Brunch on Dream Stream Radio is bringing the show to York for a special live edition on May 25.
You won't want to miss this one, as the band will be playing all your swinging favorites from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The show will be broadcast around the world from 11 to 1, and you can help us to send a message about what a fantastic music and dance community we are building here in the area.
We've teamed up with the Holiday Inn Conference Center of York, the largest hotel in the area, to allow for plenty of room for dancing. Food and beverages are available with some ticket prices, and there will be a cover charge of as low as $6.00 in order to cover the expenses involved in bringing this event to reality.
UPDATE: A complete brunch buffet has now been made available to attendees who purchase a brunch ticket, and online ticketing is now online. Day of event sales prices will be higher, and access to the buffet will not be guaranteed on the day of event, so get your tickets now. The Big Band Brunch buffet will include a full array of food choices, at a great price. Early bird pricing will be in effect from now through April 30, after which the prices will go up, so get your tickets now and beat the increase.

"I haven't heard a big band sound this great in a long time! You all were amazing!"|
"Best 'Big Band' sound around!"
Just a sampling of the comments from the Unforgettable Big Band facebook page, after the York Swing Dance Club presented their second annual "Prohibition Dance" on February 15. Timed for the day after Valentine's Day, the Roaring '20's themed event featured a "speakeasy," lots of swing dancing, a solo Charleston contest, and of course the sounds of Unforgettable, dressed for the occasion in our finest mafioso apparel.
The crowd packed the dance floor from beginning to end, as the evening got underway with free lessons in Charleston and East Coast swing dancing styles. The band roared into high gear at 9:00 with a rousing rendition of Jerry Grey's famous arrangement of "In the Mood," and the fun continued well into the early morning hours.

| New Year's Eve 2013 a Resounding Success|
Once again in 2012, the Elks Lodge in downtown York, PA was the place to be for New Year's Eve. The celebration got underway early as the revelers poured into the downtown area, and the tables were filled with reserved guests well before the buffet was opened.|
Unforgettable kicked into high gear at 8:00 PM, delighting the assembled crowd with classic selections from the big band era. Jim Scofield delighted a packed dance floor with his renditions of selections made famous by Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, and other crooners, while Tonia Grubb brought her style to many more big band feature numbers.
Throughout the evening, the band honored memorable musical moments from the year, mentioning the 100th anniversaries of the birth of Stan Kenton and Les Brown, which took place during 2012, along with the losses of Dick Clark and Dave Brubeck.
